Solar Energy
We contribute our small part towards the change in climate with the use of solar energy as it helps in controlling the global warming and other environmental problems related. We are using solar panels of 38kW capacity for powering our rooms and common area in addition to solar water heaters (To include the capacity of the Solar Water heater) used for hot water in bath and wash areas.
Wind Energy
We always look forward on the green energy, at Kolli Hills the climate condition is well suited in such a way wind energy can also be converted into electricity that can help to reduce carbon footprints. We always look things in an environmentally conscious manner to deliver to the guests. We have used vertical axis wind turbine at our hotel premises to generate electricity to power our facilities.
Biogas Plant
Managing food waste has always been a challenge, we ensure to handle vegetable waste, rotten vegetable and fruits, spoiled food, and milk to non-vegetarian waste and even grinder wash water as an input for the biogas plant and obtain cooking gas and fertilizers for plant. With the above impact we reduce individual carbon footprint and prevent pile-up of garbage on the streets making way for a hygienic environment using two numbers of 4 cubic meter capacity Biogas Plant
Tree Plantation
Reversing deforestation is complicated, planting trees in simple. The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second-best time to plant a tree in now. As we missed the best time and using the second-best time to plant trees and planted hundreds of trees every year in and around the region and ensure to maintain till it is well grown.
Zero Water Wastage
The wastewater treatment system is built with people’s protection and well-being in mind, and it aims to create a tidy, clean environment and reuse and eliminate wastage. It cleans wastewater of toxic pollutants. It is a beneficial treatment that uses physical, biological, and other chemical processes to extract pollutants from water and provide water that can be used for irrigation and agricultural purposes.
